EA Play, EA's subscription service that PlayStation players can sign up for, is adding FIFA 21 to its catalogue of games next week. From the 6th May, subscribers will be able to download and play the robust football sim on PS5 and PS4 at no extra cost.
On PS5 in particular, FIFA 21 is worth a shot — it's easily the best looking soccer title ever released, and although we do have some quibbles about its gameplay balance, it's still really good fun if you're up for some virtual footie.
Are you an EA Play subscriber? Would FIFA 21 tempt you to sign up? Talk tactics in the comments section below.

The graphics are fantastic on PS5. The gameplay’s doggy doodoo.
Do we know file size on Ps5. The Ps5 is not made for sports and racing fans that want multiple titles to play. Especially when stuff like Mortal Kombat is 100gb
Pro Evo has better graphics than Fifa imo, so would dispute the claim it is easily the best looking football game.
@Stocksy It's about 40GB on PS5, I believe.
@Kaizen753 PES might be better in the gameplay department, but it doesn't look anywhere near as realistic as FIFA 21 on PS5. The player models in particular are in a different league (if you'll pardon the pun).
£20 a year for FIFA 6 months late and a load of other games is definitely an easier pill to swallow than circa £50 each year on day one.
@Kaizen753 Yeah, I agree with @ShogunRok here, the PS5 version of FIFA is astoundingly good looking. I also prefer PES but FIFA has the graphics edge at least until the next-gen PES comes out.
@ShogunRok and nessisonett, I also have FIFA 21 on PS5 and think it does look good. Facial animations up close are probably superior indeed (although don't be get started on what they did to the likes of Mason Greenwood!). However, on the pitch, it often looks very shoddy - running animations are poor, and the hair in particular looks decidedly outdated. If any player has long hair, it really looks quite silly.
